The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to have helped the Centre Stars Dance Team raise over $1,800 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. Proceeds raised will go towards purchasing props for upcoming dance productions. "We are excited to have helped the Center of Performing Arts’ children’s dance team," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. "Our staff at Garden Road had a wonderful time working with the organization and serving members of the community a delicious pancake breakfast. We look forward to seeing everyone again at their neighborhood Applebee’s." The Centre Stars Dance Team fundraiser was hosted on July 28, 2012, at the Applebee’s restaurant located at 3103 Garden Rd., Burlington, NC. The organization sold 230 tickets and an additional $300 in donations was collected. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee. Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
