The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to have helped the Berkeley High School Volleyball Team raise over $1,100 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. Proceeds raised will go towards new equipment.
"Our team is always proud to partner with local schools to help them raise funds to meet a goal such as obtaining new equipment for a sports team," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. "We would like to thank the Bekeley High School Volleyball Team for its dedication to the Flapjack Fundraiser and we hope to see everyone back at their neighborhood Applebee’s soon."
The Volleyball Team fundraiser was hosted on August 11, 2012, at the Applebee’s restaurant located at 640 Rembert C Dennis Blvd., Moncks Corner, SC. The organization sold 184 tickets and an additional $32 in donations was collected. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
