The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bar, is proud to have helped the Bryant Lady Hornet Volleyball Team raise over $1,200 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. Proceeds raised will go towards team expenses.
"Our team is delighted to have helped the volleyball team raise money for the girls to attend camp and buy new shoes and other equipment," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. "We would like to wish the Lady Hornets a successful upcoming season, and we look forward to working with the group again in the future."
The Bryant Lady Hornet Volleyball Team fundraiser was hosted on July 14, 2012, at the Applebee’s restaurant located at 17348 I-30, Benton, AK. The organization sold 185 tickets and an additional $166 in donations was collected. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal.
