The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill and Bars, is proud to have helped the Music Department of Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church raise over $1,500 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. Proceeds raised will directly benefit the choir.
"This was a wonderful fundraising opportunity for the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church Music Department and we are glad it was a success," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. "We wish the choir the best of luck in all of its efforts and endeavors."
The Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church fundraiser was hosted on May 5, 2012, by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 4690 N. Patterson Ave., Winston-Salem, NC. The organization sold 254 tickets for the breakfast, which included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
