The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to have helped the Moore High School/Junior High School Volleyball Booster Club raise over $1,000 at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. Proceeds raised will benefit the schools’ volleyball programs throughout the upcoming season.
"This Flapjack Fundraiser was a great success thanks to the volleyball team, their fans, the school and the community," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of the Apple Gold Group. "We wish these girls all the best in their upcoming season and that they will continue to reach out to Applebee’s for fundraising assistance."
The Moore High School/Junior High School Volleyball Booster Club Flapjack Fundraiser was hosted on July 3, 2010 by the Applebee’s restaurant located at 2401 S I-35 Frontage Rd., Moore, OK. The group sold over 150 tickets to the event. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on any Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal.
