

The Apple Gold Group, franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to have helped the Choir School at St. Peter’s, Inc. of Charlotte, NC raise over $3,000 in just two hours at a recent Flapjack Fundraiser. All proceeds raised will support general funding for the organization.
"Our Flapjack Fundraiser program is a great way for organizations like the Choir School at St. Peter’s to raise funds and awareness with the support of the community," said Michael Olander, President and CEO of Apple Gold Group. "Our employees enjoyed working with such a dedicated group of volunteers and students."
The Choir School at St. Peter’s, Inc. Flapjack Fundraiser was hosted on March 27, 2010 by the Applebee’s restaurant located at located at 8700 JW Clay Blvd., Charlotte, NC. The group sold over 426 tickets and an additional $620 in donations was collected. Breakfast included a short stack of pancakes, sausage, milk, juice and coffee.
Applebee’s is proud to partner with any local non-profit organization as a way to raise money for their cause. From ticket sales to event-day staff, the breakfasts are managed by the non-profit organization with the assistance of Applebee’s employee volunteers. Breakfasts can be held on any Saturday or Sunday morning, and cost the organization around $2 a meal. The Applebee’s Flapjack Fundraisers represent the restaurant chain’s latest efforts to remain active within its local neighborhood.
